QuestionI have 2 pugs a female and male and 6 months ago they have a litter, now I noticed that sasha(female) is in heat again I tried to separated them but monty(male) is going crazy. Every time I walk them he try to mate with her and don't know what to do. Does male also go in heat ? How long should I keep them apart ?
AnswerPlease check with your veterinarian about how long to keep them apart. The female releases a scent that will drive males crazy to get to her when she is in heat. Please consider neutering your male and spaying your female. There are so many unwanted pets, unless your Pugs are champion quality, they should not be bred.
