Is my puppy depressed or sick?

Question
He's eleven weeks old, weighs almost three pounds, and seems to be eating normally. He finishes about 2/3 of a can of pedigree a day. He doesn't vomit or have diarrhea. He seems very normal. The only thing that is different about him is that he's not as active and hyper as he used to be. Could this be due to the medication (drontal plus for his worms which was prescribed by our vet) or could this be due to low blood sugar level? I read that poodles often suffer from low blood sugar. Please give my an answer. I am very concerned about my baby! Thanks

Answer
Actually I would be a LOT more concerned that you are feeding him canned food.  After that recall a few days ago he could be in trouble.  I would get in into your vet ASAP.  Dont wait.  And tell your vet he is eating canned food.  There were a lot of foods contaminated with rat poison from some other country where they got their wheat from.  It is causing renal failure.  So have your puppy checked immediately.  Then get your puppy OFF the canned food.  Canned food is terrible for toy poodles.  It ruins their teeth and makes their breath bad and gives them soft stools.  Find a nice high quality dry dog food that is free of corn, wheat, and chicken bi-products.
