I have the same problem with my 8 month old pekingese that the other lady had with her poodle.  He is beyond the point of being cute.  I agree with what you said to her about him getting his own way all the time.  We definitely spoiled him.  He is so bad now that no one can come to our house, he bit a hole in my new little puppy's ear today and he growls and bites at everyone--even chasing the kids around the house!  Its ridiculous.  do you think getting him neutered will help us?

Neutering is no cure all, and takes a while to have much effect.  Still, it does help.  Certainly dogs with behavior problems should not be used as breeding stock.  neutering also reduces chance of cancer later in life.  You don't have much to lose, and it should help.
