Answer
First off I must say that your vet is very very wrong. It is NOT just the breed. This is a serious problem you should have been given phenobarbital or a like medication to control your dogs seizures.  It is my guess that this dog is suffering from one of several genetic disorders.  I sure hope that you informed your breeder that your dog had this serious issue.  There is no kind of food that will help with seizures.  You need to get to a vet ASAP and get some medicine to help control this problem NOW!  If your current vet will not do anything then find another vet that will help you.  I am appalled that this issue has gone untreated by your vet.  Please seek immediate medical help ASAP!
