Question
my miniature poodle, who is three years old has what looks like a piece of hair in his left eye. it doesn't seems to be bothering him. however, it looks annoying. i tried to flush it with sterile water but it is still there. it is in the center of his pupil. do you have any idea what it is?

Answer
Hello Clarence,
If its a hair, you can take a damp paper towel and gently wipe across the eye to remove the hair.  It could be a vein across the eye though and if thats what it is, there is nothing you can do about that.  Your dog shouldn't be bohered by it though.
If it does seem to bother him, contact your Vet for a further diagnosis.

I hope this helps you some.  If you have other questions for me, please feel free to ask.
