Black toy poodle

Hi my toy poodle is 2.1/2 years old now so still a young one, however he has quite a lot of fading to the colout of his black coat and appears dusty grey in parts is this normal for such a young dog? He is fit and healthy and happy. Thanks

That is probably because his true color is blue NOT black.  Dont worry its a mistake that many many many breeders out there make.  They tell their puppy owners that the dog is black when it is not.  Most breeders dont know what a blue is in all reality.
