Question
My 8 week old standard poodle puppies lower canines our on the inside of his upper teeth not on the outside. Hope this make since as it is hard to explain. When he closes his mouth they go into the roof of his mouth. Do bites change or is this something I should be concerned about.

Answer
Yes bites can change but not very often.  However since they are puppy teeth and not adult teeth all is not lost.  You will want too keep a close eye on the puppy.  You may want to take him into the vet and have the bottom teeth tipped off so that he can chew properly.  If he doesnt seem to be having a hard time then dont worry about it.  If you see that it is getting infected from the holes in the top jaw or if you see he is holding his jaw funny and either forward or sideways then I would get him in to the vet.  Once the adult teeth come in hopefully it will correct itself.  I just had that problem with my silver girl and it was throwing her jaw sideways much to my distress.  So I tipped the bottom canines and her jaw went back into normal position.  Her adult teeth are coming in now and all seems to be normal and she has a perfect bite so far.
Hope the same goes well for you too.
