I have a 6 six year old male dog, every time we let him out of the back door he barks at the door, when he gets out at the front of the house he runs along the cars that are driving past and barks.

Answer
I would not let him out in the front, too much risk of him getting hit.  If out back, he takes time to eliminate before barking, just let him back in.  I have had some puppies that didn't like being outside by themselves.  

If you have to, walk him on leash to relieve him.
