QUESTION: My mini poodle just had 5 pups and it has only been 58 days since we first took her to the breeder. Is that possible? Or did some other dog get to her first?

ANSWER: Hi Paul,
It is very possible that she just had her babies a wee bit early. 5 puppies is a good size litter. 5 days early is a good bit however - are all of the puppies good size and strong? How do the puppies look?

Hi paul,
Glad to hear all are doing well. Thats great. Tails need to come off at 3 days - make sure your vet only takes 1/2 the tail so you don't end up with tails that are to short. (it is a grooming nightmare trying to get a pom on a nub!)
