toy poodle constipation

I have a 7 week old toy poodle that has constipation. What kind of home remedy could I give her that would be safe and not harm her.

Constipation is uncommon in dogs and may be due to blockage by foreign material.  It such a case, any laxative could cause severe problems.  I wouldn't give her anything until you talk to a vet.  

If you have just gotten her, it could be the stress of a new home.  While blockages are quite serious, usually they can go a day or 2 and see if the problem solves itself.  Keep an eye on her until tomorrow.  Give her nothing but her regular food and water.

You can safely exercise her which may help too.
