Question
I have a toy poodle who is pregnant how long before puppies are born? Also is there any shots she needs during the pregnancy?

Hello Mary,
Female dogs are pregnant for 63 days give or take a day.  You can tell when she is getting close if you observe her temperature twice a day until the puppies come.  A dogs normal temp runs around 101.5 but when a girl gets ready to have her puppies, it will drop to around 98.0  
Take it rectally and record it.  It will gradually drop until it reaches around 98.0

You can get her looked at by a Vet to insure that she is contining to remain healthy, but there isn't really any shots that she needs now.  Do continue to feed her a healthy diet so that she can support her puppies.  You can give her things like Cottage Cheese, hamburger (or turkey, pork, or chicken burger) broth on her food, or Veggies if she will eat them to help her have a balanced diet.
