Question
Hi:We have a male husky just turned 1 year old.  He is very loving and friendly and we have been taking him to a dog park to play since he was little.  However, the last few times we have taken him he is showing dominant behavior to the small dogs, nipping and trying to pin.  Needless to say, the owners get very angry and we are no longer taking him because we don't want him to hurt another dog.  He doesn't display any of that behavior with us or larger dogs.  Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.  Thanks

Answer
Some Siberians just cannot be trusted with small dogs. For some reason a small terrier or such is the same to them as a rabbit or cat. I wouldn't let your dog near a small dog without proper supervission, if you want to work the problem out, you will have to get a dog trainer that can do hands on work with you and your dog.
