I have 2 English Bulldog Puppies

Question
My girl is 4 months old and my boy is 7 months. I was wondering about my oldest bulldog puppy. He is only 7 months old but weighs approximately 60 pounds! He does not look fat and still has a shapely figure. Do you think he is overweight? Also I am wondering about the amount of food they should be getting. They eat Natural Ballance  1 1/2 cups 3 times a day but are sometimes not interested in their morning feed. Can I cut them back to twice a day. Or should I keep feeding my 4 month old 3 times and maybe feed my boy just twice? Thank you in advance for your help.

Answer
Is your male an AKC Bulldog or an Olde English Bulldogge? 60 lbs. for an AKC puppy is unbelievable. It's possible for an adult male to mature around 60 or 70 lbs. but that's unusual. If he's not fat, perhaps he has thyroid issues. I would be concerned.

If he's not showing alot of interest in morning feedings, I would definitely cut down to twice a day. Your girl may still need three feedings until around 6 months. I free feed so it's hard for me to judge how other dogs should be fed.  I find that leaving food down all the time will allow dogs to eat when they're hungry, not when they know they food is coming. They tend not to gulp down their food and generally will not over eat with free feeding, but you have to start this early. It can be done when a puppy or dog is older, but they will stuff themselves until they realize the food isn't going anywhere.
