Question
I have a young mother cat that i was told may have worms causing her to
have blood in her stool. Its not very solid. I want to deworm her and wean
her baby but im not finding any information on which type of worms will
give her bloody stool. Will it hurt her to be treated for both types as a
precaution or is something else causing this?

Your veterinarian can tell you if your cat has worms and what type of worms they are.  Then you can properly treat your cat for intestinal parasites if she has them. You should not treat her for intestinal parasites if she does not have them.  The blood in the stool can be caused by a number of things.
