guinea pig biting

hi i have a female guinea pig about a year old now. and in the last month or so she started biting me hard. my arms and she bit my neck real hard it hurt it was not a nibble why would she be doing this so hard. I dont have any scent on me that would make her bite me.I cant take it anymore im scared to hold her now.
