16yr old collie

I have a 16 year almost 17, she has been having a problem with diarrhea, this happens once a week and only for a couple of days. Is there anything we can do to help with this problem.

Well at 17 yrs old she could very well be losing her ability for the colon to extract the water from her food or she might not be able to digest it as well.
For a stop gap measure you could try boiled rice in her food. That helps with diarrhea. But I would be worried about other issues going on if that doesn't stop it for good.
In that case a trip to the vets is warranted.
