Dog going to the bathroom too much?

My dog was recently taken for some shots last week, which included a rabies shot.  She's 6 years old and is a lhasa apso mix.  The past few days she has been defacating a lot inside and outside the house, sometimes 4 times a day.  I'm just wondering if something is wrong because I haven't seen her do this before.

Hi Chris!  This could just be a symptom of stress, from being at the vet's office.  If she is eating/drinking and behaving normally, I would give her a few more days, if she is stressed.  If she isn't eating as well or has increased drinking and is lethargic, this may be a reaction to the vaccinations.  Generally, a reaction to a vaccine would include facial swelling, but it also can cause some odd reactions like lethargy, fever, decreased appetite, which would need to be relieved by a steroid injection by your veterinarian.
