Dog skin itch

My dog skin has become very itchy, do to a skin infection that is drying up. I have sprayed her coat with Betagen a topical spray recommened by her vet. Is there anything else I can do for her? she is basically chewing herself bald.

I would recommend switching her diet to a fish-based one such as Verus Fish & Potato, Natural Balance Sweet Potato & Fish, Flint River Ranch Fish & Chips or Wellness Fish & Potato.  These natural foods are designed for dogs with food allergies and sensitive skin.  Eliminating such things as corn, chicken, wheat, soy, by-products and artifical colors is good for the body.  

In addition you can give her Benadryl at a dose of 1 MG per pound 2-3 times a day.
