QuestionI have a 3 yr old female Chocolate Lab that has been spayed. She licked intensely at her rear and will have a clear fluid coming out, sometimes in drops and other times in puddles. She also has alot of problems with horrible smelling gas and I usually see the leaking when she is passing gas. The fluid itself is clear and does not smell bad, and she tries to lick it up. I took her to the vet and had her checked for urinary infection, but it was negative. She is very active and has no other problems otherwise.

Is the leaking coming from her anus or her vulva? If she still has a discharge after a visit to the vet, return to the vet to voice your concerns.
Urine incontinence usually occurs due to a lack of estrogen in the body. This is more common in older dogs. Medicines can treat this condition; if oral medicines do not work, there is a surgical procedure that can help fix the incontinence.
