Kidney Failure in my dog?

Question
Hi, I recently took my dog to a Veterinary Technician for a quick diagnosis, and she asked me to get a second opinion from a Veterinarian and I can't afford to take my dog to the Vet right now.  My Dog is 14 years old and she has not been acting well. She hasnt been eating, she's been lethargic, she seems to have been drinking more water and urinating more but has began to vomit.  She is a black lab, spade, and the symptoms have been getting worse. She is much weaker now, and her appitite has slowly decreased and she stopped eating 2 days ago. There is no food in her vomit, just mucas. She drank water today but vomited it back up right away. She is very weak and wobbly. My friend did a quick physical exam and found: that her repsiratory rate is slightly fast, and her muscle tone has decreased. She is depressed and weak. Her CRP is slow and she has bad breath. She is 10% dehydrated.  Without lab tests, could you please give me an idea of what this might be? thank you SO much, I just want to help my dog!

Answer
You need to take your dog to the veterinarian.  Without a proper diagnosis and treatment she will not get better.  And at this point, it sounds as if she is suffering.  She certainly could be in kidney failure, have liver disease, Cushing's Disease, Diabetes, etc.
