cut on dogs leg

My dog was out hunting today and got into a fence.  He has some minor cuts on his leg and belly areas.  Can I put a Neosporin or Triple Antibiotic Ointment on it that humans use?

Before usung an occlusive dressing like antibiotic ointments, you should irrigate the wounds with plain warm water. Do this daily. If the wounds are just superficial, antibiotic ointment should be fine.  If the cuts are deep, the dog may need systemic antibiotics to prevent deeper infection.
