cat w/ weakness

Question
My cat has recently stopped jumping on things such as our bed, the couch, the kitchen table - all places she easily was able to jump up on and allowed to in the past.  I do not remember any truama, I just came home from work and she seemed really hesitant to jump on things.  She has slightly improved over the last 2 days, but now she puts her front feet on the item she wants to get up on and pulls up her back legs.  i took her to the vet who said she wasn;t in any pain and couldn;t detect a limp....but i am concerned about potential new onset hind leg weakness w/o known trauma.  thanks - eric

Answer
May be due to arthritis or a partial tear to a knee ligament or a slightly bulging disc.  You can give her a joint supplement with Glucosamine and MSM to help lubricate her joints.   If she is not getting better, I would recommend x-rays and blood work.
