Dog suddenly become quiet

hi

recently we bought a small puppy, maybe a month old. We bought 2 puppies, the second one just to accompany our Guru for about 2 days. Initially when we bought he was very aggressive and resisted our tieing a chain around his neck. he also continouus barked. Yesterday we send his companion and now he has become very quiet. Does't resist. One question also - how much time in a day should the dog of said age be tied. We tie because he will become more ferocious and not mingle with stray dogs. And how many times a day we should feed him

Hi Shashi!I am a bit confused. A puppy should never leave it's mother until the age of 8 weeks old, or even up to 3 months of age. A month old puppy is too young to be away from his mother and never tie a dog out at this age because he doesn't have his vaccinations, and will contract deadly diseases like Parvo. Why would you want your puppy to mingle with stray dogs? You should definately keep this dog away from stray dogs. And I am confused because a month old puppy should never be ferocious. A month old puppy is helpless and in need of it's mother. Am I misunderstanding you? Please write back with more info if I am!

Hi again!He is probably depressed since the other dog left.

You should feed twice a day.

I would only leave him out for a few hours at a time unless it is very hot or very cold, then you should only have him out for a short period of time to go to the bathroom.
