my daughter lost her pappilion today, there was charcoal on her tongue and i was thinking that this could be poisonious to her

Hi Margie!I am sorry about the loss of your daughters pet.
We routinely give dogs activated charcoal to bind toxins; however, if you are talking about charcoal briquettes then I would say they are poisonous since they have other chemicals on them.
