My question is, Do you recommend using bottled water only for cats, vs. tap water?  We have city water, and we use an in-line filter (PUR) and I give my cats water from that, but my main concern is the flouride or other 'extra's' that might be in our city water. What is your opinion and do you know of other web sites where I might read research on this issue?  My cats are still young, 2-3 years, and I want them to have long and healthy lives!

getting a gallon of spring water or a water filter is great!  mind you that you can look for filters that remove flouride since cats can get sensitive from it in large quantities. And I mean LARGE quanitities.

I currently give my cats distilled or spring water from a jug.
