QuestionHello, I was wondering if you can help my dog? He is a collie, about 7 and a half years old, and has had a limp in his right paw for a few months now. Up until now, it hasn't been too serious: he could run and play like usual.
Tonight, he could barely walk. To get him out there (to do his business) I had to hold and holster him throughout.
I'm worried it might be artritis, but I'm not too sure. I'm taking him to the vet tomorrow, but can you give me a general idea of what's wrong with him?
Thank you for your time;
-Adam, Michigan
AnswerHi Adam - yes, a vet visit sounds like a good idea. It may be a joint problem or arthritis. Your vet will take some x-rays and see what is going on... Good Luck
