Question
My Cat is female and about 8 months old.....It met an accident i don't know how as i found it on the Road the next day...it can't walk and feels tremendous pain while changing its position while sleeping,....Today it tried to stand up but only the front two legs stood up the remaining body is lying  without motion...Its backward legs are moving slightly .It is not taking any solid food as of now....When consulted the Vet. he said its a Spinal cord Injury.....
I want to know if it will be able to walk again.....Please don't ignore this, my family is in lot of trauma....please tell me

Answer
Your cat was hit by a car. She most likely has a broken back, or broken pelvis at the very least. She has a spinal cord injury as the vet said.
The fact that she can move her hind legs at all is good-but that doesn't mean she will walk again. Cats can and do heal and can do things again like walking but you need to have her xrayed to determine how badly her back is broken. I cannot tell you over the internet if she will walk again.

If she is given some medications it can help her to heal and reduce the trauma and inflammation in her cord.

Please get her to the vets as soon as you can. The longer you wait the less help it will be.
