PREGNANT FEMALE DOG

Hi Jennifer,
  Our female dog has just been bred by our male dog several times, so I am assuming that he got her pregnant by now. She is due for her Rabies shot next month. Is it safe to get her her Rabies
shot if she is pregnant? Thanks and Have A Great

Rabies vaccine is a killed vaccine and should be safe, however, I always err on the side of caution and WAIT till after they give birth for the simple fact that some dogs spike fevers and this could affect the babies.  Pregnancy lasts about 9 weeks, so she will only be a month late anyway for her shot and it doesn't magically expire on that date you have on your paper.
