HELP ME WITH MY KITTEN PLEASE!!

Question
Okay, i have about a five month old kitten. She has had her rabies but no other shots. Me and my sister picked her up from a farm for free. We brought her home and about 2 weeks later we noticed a small hole in her back. We thought nothing of it, we thought one of the other cats may have bitten her. Well as time went by she developed a huge bald spot around the hole, and the hole got bigger and we noticed a worm-like thing in it, we are scared to pull it out ourselves, because we do not know what it is. But at the same time we do not have the money to bring her to a vet. The wormish thing looks almost like a very fat maggot or something. It seems like it is trying to get out but its like to big to get out of the hole. It randomly starts bleeding and pushing out puss. The cat still acts very normal and the hair is starting to grow back. What is it in her back? and do you know of any way that i can get it out with out having to get rid of her or killing her?? please i am very desperate i love this kitten so much i do not want to lose my Ovedia!! so please reply ASAP on what i should do and what it is!! thank you very much

It sounds as if your cat has a parasite. The parasite is called cuterebra.  What you may see is hatched larvae that has burrowed into the skin of the cat.  Uncommon in cats and dogs, this parasite can be easily removed by a veterinarian, but the resulting wound may heal slowly.

Contact your veterinarian to determine what is bothering your pet; he/she can help you diagnose and find the best treatment.
