My 7 Year Old Cat Has Become Much More Friendly Lately?

My cat Miley is almost 7. She never used to like people and now she is very tolerant and even affectionate with strangers. She also doesn't mind if people pick her up. What is happening?

Answer
She's a senior citizen James. Many cats change around this age and become more affectionate.
Some become just the opposite but not as many as the ones that become more loving.
I've had a few cats do the same thing.

If you think that this is abnormal for her and she is not acting herself, then you should take her in and have a senior blood panel done on her at the vets.

It's not a bad idea to do that anyway.
