Question
My dods stools look formed but im seeing some jellylike stuff around the stool.  There is no diarrhea, no sickness or throwing up.  Is eating normal.  Feed dry food in monring.  At night feed cooked chikcen, rice and peas. What is going on and what to do to clear this problem up.

Answer
Well I would stop the people food for one thing. All that does is unbalance his food. Jellylike mucous is a sign of a mal-absorption issue usually. That means that your dog isn't digesting and absorbing his food.
There are many causes of this and they all need to be evaluated by a veterinarian. So you need to make an appointment and get him in to see the vets. Without treatment these disorders can make your dog starve to death even though they are eating.
Get him seen soon.
