Morkie having trouble barking.

Our morkie seems to be having trouble barking.  Earlier tonight he ate a small piece of bread and seemed to have trouble breathing, now his breathing seems fine but he is not able to bark as usual.  He has never been walked using a collar onle a harness.

It's hard to say what is causing the trouble barking.  Typically, it is a problem with the larynx.  Whether he injured it when he coughed up the bread, or if the bread got stuck in the back of his mouth, or some other reason entirely, is not real clear.

I would recommend a visit to the veterinarian in case it is something serious.
