Flea Medications

I ordered Advantix for my pug through the mail. I recieved it and put the first application on him about 2 weeks ago. I am still seeing about 3 to 4 fleas on his body. He constantly itches and bites. Can I put another tube on him now or should I try another product. Please help he is miserable. Thank you so much.

Wash the dog with dawn liquid detergent and go to the vet for FRONTLINE or REVOLUTION.  :)

Advantix if you call the company that makes it, WILL tell you  that you will still see fleas on your pet, but the population will go down over time to less than 95% of fleas. and then less over that. NO flea product is 100% the first time around. What you can also ask your vet for is Capstar. That will kill the fleas on the dog right away and then the other product can help.
