Mouse with neck injury

Question
When attempting to return my field mouse back to his cage i caught his neck by accident, with which he spasmed on the floor. I think i have done some serious damage. He can move his arms and legs, ie. he can clean his nose and tries to scratch with his legs. However he can only lie on his side. Im quite stressed over this. I need advice until the vets are open in the morning. I dont want him to move incase more injury to his neck happens.

Hi Madoc!

The only thing I can suggest is make sure he has food and extra water and do not to touch or play with your mouse until he gets to a veterinarian. This will give his neck some time to heal. Please take your mouse to the veterinarian as soon as possible.
