chin bumps on my boxer

Hello Marie,

Unfortunatly the Dermatologist is maxed out for questions and I'm wondering if you have any suggestions. My boxer has been getting bumps that fill with blood on his chin off and on now for 3 yrs. After seeing several specialist they all are baffled and have no idea or remedy as to what the cause is. He has been on cephalexin and simplicef for 3yrs! And the meds do clear it up but it always comes back. Any suggestions?

Wow Adam!  At first I would have said the Canine Acne which is a virus almost like warts.  But, if they can't figure it out then I assume they have already figured it was not that virus.
So, a different option for your boxer boy.....
Here are my suggestions:

I would like to see your boy on a grain free diet / Or as grain free as you can possibly get!
What ever food he is on now mix it with Innova EVO or Wellness CORE..
Do a 50/50 mix of the old food and one of the new foods x 1 month.
After that, go to 100% of the new GRAIN free food.
No treats unless they are Innova EvO treats.. I don't know if Wellness core has a treat yet, they may...

Next, NuVET Plus is needed and also a Probiotic for this boy.  We need to blast his system with some good supplements and oils, too.

Vitamin E 200 IU  ( please get him to take 1 tablet per day)... For at least a month or so... It won't hurt and it can help his skin.  He may even need to be on this for 3 months.
