Question
Ihave a Siberian Husky And lately he has been urinating on the floor at night. My wife thought it was his way of rebeling. But I was noticing that when he goes outside to urinate he goes forever. And we were noticing that that he is drinking a large amount of water. He has a large water bowl and he is drinking two of those a day. It has to be at least two liter container. This morning he was drinking an insane amount of water and then vomiting it all up. We are now limiting his water intake and I was wondering what you thought. I'm going to take him to the vet, but I csn't get him there until Tuesday. Do you think that he is going to be okay until then or should In try to find one of those pet e.rs
thanks Steve Bigler

Answer
Hi Stephen!  I would definitely suggest to take him to the emergency vet.  The reason being, is that increased drinking and urination are classic symptoms of diabetis.  If he has become diabetic, it is crucial to get his blood glucose back to a normal level ASAP.
Because he is drinking such large amounts of water, diabetis would definitely be at the top of the list of possibilities.  Other ailments that this may be would be a bladder/urinary tract infection or hypothyroidism.
Please let me know how it goes.
