Eating grass and regurgitating

Question
My dog, golden retriever 5 yrs. old, goes out in the yard, eats grass and then throws it back up.  Other than that he is very healthy and active.  Weight is good, I have him on heartworm medication and flea and tick preventive.  I have noticed this behavior primarily in the morning - sometimes on his first trip outside for the day.  Is there something I should change in his diet?  Is this harmful to him and should I take him to his Vet for this?  Thanks

Answer
Make sure to feed something before bed.  This is probably due to an over-acid stomach from not eating for a long period of time.  The other thing to do is to add some digestive enzymes such as Prozyme to each meal.  You could change his diet to something easier to digest of more natural....Hill's has a Sensitive Stomach formula or you could try a fish or venison based food.  If those changes do not help, then I would take him to the vet for some blood testing.
