Question
Hi there, my staffordshire bull terrier cross puppy (13wks) has slight dermatitis under his arms and back legs.  The vet is not yet concerned but I wondered if there are any natural/homeopathic remedies I could use to help this condition?  It is not yet bad enough to have any official dermatitis medicaitons applied and I'd like to help stop it getting worse.

thanks for your help :o)

Answer
Hello!

Dermatitis is a condition but to treat it, you have to know what is causing it first. It may be due to something he is allergic to, like food, especially chicken, or if he had fleas it may be an onset of flea allergy dermatitis, etc. So the treatment would depend on what is causing it. But if he has itching right now, you may try to use some anti-itch shampoos like Dermaleen, etc. these may be a relief.

Kind Regards
