Dog leg injury

Question
Our dog injured her leg earlier today and is still not putting any weight on it. How it happened we don't know, she came in from outside limping and since hasn't moved much. I checked her paw for anything that may have lodged in it, but can't see anything. She doesn't seem to be in much pain and she somewhat wags her tail when we talk "sweetly" to her. we have given her some baby aspirin to try to help. Should we wait a few days to see if it heals on its own or should we take her in?

Answer
Kieth -

Take your dog to the veterinarian to be examined.  If she is not putting weight on her foot, then she is painful. She needs pain meads so that she can be more comfortable.  Aspirin is often not enough to help control pain - your vet should have meds that can make the healing process a comfortable one for your dog.
