Sores on feet

I have a 6lbs daschund who has dry skin and it flakes off a lot.  My vet said she had a allergy and prescribed benadryl.  I have recently moved and now she is getting sores on her back feet and not her front.  Is her allergy getting worse or does she have some other skin problem?

Benadryl has been proven to be of NO USE in dogs with allergies.  The treatment recommended is a low dose cortisone to keep the skin's reaction to the allergies minimized.  I would suggest letting another vet with an interest in treating skin diseases look at her.
