Bathing

My dog had puppies a week ago is it ok to give her a bath and if do what should I wash her in

Answer
I would not bathe her so soon. She is nursing and it's disturbing to her at this point to be taken from the puppies. Baths are stressful for dogs and she doesn't need to be stressed at this point. I would wait at least 3 weeks. If she is filthy dirty then use a warm wash rag and just clean up the dirtiest parts. Dry her afterward. Don't use anything but water on the washrag.

The only thing you should ever bathe a dog with is shampoo made for dogs. These can be found at the vets office, PetSmart, PetCo or any local pet store.
