Question
My cat is off balance.She cant walk up the stairs or jump off the couch with out falling or stumbling, even when she tries to scratch herself she falls down. she is 1 1/2 years old, she is strictly indoor, she has not been vaccinated,the last vet i took her to couldnt find anything wrong with her and wanted $200. to do blood tests I am  poor person and I cant afford that much money. what should i do? will my cat die she is loved very much please Help

Ok,  I am going to be honest with you...

1. shame for not vaccinating her- she could have a disease that could have been prevented from being vaccinated. ALL kittens and juvenile cats need to be vaccinated. Adults are a different story since their immune systems are different.

2. Off balance can mean a SEVERE inner ear infection that will need help with medication, or a polyp, or a brain disorder, or renal disease...you catch what I'm saying? It could be anything. Thats why bloodwork is SO important.

Don't let your cat die, call your local shelter to see if they know of any vets that just deal with people of low income or to see if they have a program that helps low income families. If not,you may want to relinquish custody of her so she can be cared for someone that can care for her properly.
