Question
my maltese will not eat for the last few days.  Having a very tiny bowel movement.  Keeps trying but nothing.  I have given her milk and shredded wheat cereal every morning.  Now she won't eat anything.  when i press the lower part of both sides of her lower body i can hear like a slight rumbling sound.  she may be constituted.  Never been constituted or sick before. She is 9 years old and up to date on all of her shots.  Thank you, Carla

Answer
Milk with shredded wheat might give her diarrhea but if she has an impaction of some sort that will not move it. I hope this isn't her normal morning diet. If it is, then she is severely undernourished.

Try adding some pumpkin to her regular dog food and see if the extra fiber will help her. I really feel like she should see the vet before you proceed with anything.
Only they can determine if she is indeed constipated.

If she isn't, and nothing else is wrong, you can try the pumpkin. I would get her on a good diet also, such as Science Diet sensitive stomach. That would stop any future problems like this unless she has an intestinal problem like diverticulitis.

Have the vet look her over as soon as you can. Please let me know how she is.
