Sick puppy that wont eat

Question
Hello, I am hoping that you can help me.  I have not had much luck so far.  My 8 month old Basenji puppy was tentatively diagnosed with EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency).  Now my problem is that I do not think that this is what she has.  First of all she has most of the symptoms except instead of eating anything she won't eat a thing.  She lost so much weight we almost lost her a month ago.  She does have diarrhea consistently.  We have done a trial run on enzyme treatment with no positive results, so I am doubtful that that is the problem.  We have undergone all possible tests at the vet and come up negative for everything.  My vet is positive it is not worms, bacteria or parasites.  She did undergo a treatment of apo-sulfatrim just in case as the breeder had issues with cocsidiosis.  My question is if in your experience you have ever come accross these symptoms for some other ailment.  I have the feeling that she has some unkown allergy or intolerance to something in the packaged dog food.  We were feeding her Hills t/d and Hills puppy food, which from my experience is a good dog food.  She will no longer eat it.  She will eat a homemade diet of meat, rice and vegetables that I have been making.  She seems to also be eating an all natural holistic diet that I picked up a couple of days ago at the health food store.  Please do not send me information on EPI as I have already read every article out there.  I'm really just looking for other possibilities to her illness that my vet may not have thought of.  Thank you for reading this.

Answer
Have you gotten a second opinoin from another vet? By this I mean get a ENTIRE copy of your records including bloodwork and all and take it elsewhere to get looked at?
If your vet has not done biopsies via surgery or enodscopy then basing that diagnosis off of her symptoms is probably not enough.

The only animal I am currently working with a pancreatic insufficiency is a cat that is on pancreazyme powder, fennel water and metronidazole.

I am sorry I cannot help you further.
