Washing a cat

Is it safe to wash a cat ? Do I need a special shampoo ? Would there be any reason not to wash my cat ?

there really is NO reason to wash your cat uneless you want to. Though the cat wont like it much.

A cat cleans himself fine. The hair should be glossy and smooth. Unless YOU are having allergy problems. I would not recommend it.

If you are. Bathing cats are tricky. You may want to schedule a bath at your vets office or groomer.
