Question
I just rescued a sphinx cat from a breeder and have since then neutered him.  I was wondering if there are any health concerns or any precautions with this breed?  Do they require a certain food?  Are they different from other cats?  Are natural foods better for this breed?

Answer
Cats are cats and they need balanced, well made diets. Natural foods for cats would be rats, mice and birds but since these are not advisable to feed anymore to cats we recommend Science Diet Adult indoor food for exotic cats like these.

You can read more about this breed here then I can tell you:

They are not like other cats only because they have no hair. This makes them ideal for people that are allergic to cats but adore them.

If this cat needed to be rescued from a breeder that makes me think the breeder needs to be reported to the animal welfare people. I hope that you have found a way to rescue the rest of the cats if that is the case.
