my itchy shih-tzu

My almost four month old shih-tzu has little red bumps,that look like bites, and also scabs on her stomach, legs, and tail.  She constantly itches and bites herself.  I have been to many vets who say its not fleas and did a mite test and that was negative.  Also got her an allergy shot and that didn't help.  I am worried that it might be something serious, and poor girl is miserable.  Please give me some insight.

what your puppy probably has is called puppy pyoderma. Many puppies get these itchy red bumps on their belly that turns into pustules and pop and scab over.

They are uncomfortable, they do need antibiotics many times and anithistamines for several days to help.

speak furher with your vet and keep complaining that she is in discomfort.
