looking up

Question
My 2 year old miniture schnauzer sometimes stand on his hind legs and looks up while hopping in a circle like there is something above him. Most of the time he will do this just sitting down or standing but, there is nothing there he does this for awhile like something is really bothering him. He also has been licking his front paws a lot lately as well.  Thanks

The licking of the feet is either due to allergies (food or contact) or obsessive compulsive disorder (which may explain the other behavior as well).  I would recommend trying to feed a fish based food such as those made by Wellness, Flint River Ranch or Verus to rule out allergies.  All of these foods are natural and free of dyes, colors and preservatives which could also be contributing to the odd behavior you describe.
