Question
My five year old bichon/pomeranian spayed female dog has begun to poop on the floor.  The poop contains droplets of blood and is softer than usual.  We tried changing her food, but it has not helped.  She was previously on Iams now on Natural Choice with oatmeal for sensitive stomachs.  What can be wrong?

Answer
LOTS!  You need to take a stool sample and the dog to the vet to get checked out for parasites, colitis and or food allergies.

Until you get your appt, feed a BLAND diet of long cook white rice and cottage cheese for the next few days to help soothe her belly.
