our family dog was hit by a car last moth and we had to put him to sleep we dont want othewr dog but pfriends has told us it would be good for the kids my husbard says yes i say no we loved luke very much

Hi Brenda!  I am so sorry for your loss.  Losing a loved pet is always very difficult, but often times, no matter how much you don't want to get another one...it really helps ease the pain.  It's a very personal decision, but it definately would be good for your kids, and since hubby says yes, he must want a dog too.  Take your time to think about it and I'm sure you'll make the decision that will be best for you and your family.
